Telstra International is a leading supplier of global network, hosting, data centre and voice solutions and a division of the leading Australia-based, tier 1 telecommunications and media services company, Telstra Corporation Limited. Telstra owns one of the most technologically advanced IP backbone networks in the world.
Telstra International has a customer base of over 7,000 customers in the UK - products are sold via Retail and Wholesale Sales Teams and through reseller and service provider partners.
Guava was appointed to provide consultation, design and develop services to Telstra International owing to the following:
- A clear understand of the business requirements and the user journey
- A proven Content Management Solution (CMS) that can support multiple websites in multiple languages.
- Re-development of existing EMEA website with look to expand the CMS to support and re-develop their global locations in America, Australia and Asia.
- To provide a site that is optimised for natural search
- To keep the look and feel within the corporate style guide
Guava designed and developed the EMEA website (which can be found at www.telstra-international.co.uk) using the latest version of the powerful GuavaCMS which enables Telstra International to control not only core site content but latest news, case studies and careers through the database area. Products and Services were segmented according to the audience trying to improve their usability throughout the website. Administrator permissions were put in place as this global company needed to have content approved by regional teams before being published.
The GuavaCMS enables Telstra International to view and export form submissions through their website. They are also able to broadcast emails to these specific groups using the email builder that is integral to the GuavaCMS. This allows tailored messages to be broadcast to the right audience.
Guava delivered a successfully designed website that launched on time and within budget. We continue to maintain and support the website and GuavaCMS whilst continuously suggesting new features and functionality to help drive both new and repeat visitors to the site.
